Why good food is so useful for a healthy lifestyle

In some of the previous blogs, we have discussed recipes and ideas for simple, nutritious foods. But, what is it that is so good about these foods?
Many elite bodybuilders, athletes and fitness models preach that their bodies are made approximately "20% in the gym and 80% in the kitchen", meaning that the nutrition in the foods they eat is the main reason for their success and athletic body.
These "healthy foods" we talk about are considered "healthy" due to the components of the nutrients within them. Foods that are high in protein are good for muscle repair and development. Foods low in sugars and fats can prevent weight gain. Foods with healthy fats and carbs are used for growth and energy stores.
There's a clear reason as to why you feel healthier, happier and more energetic after eating a big healthy breakfast of eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt etc. You feel better afterwards and have more energy to complete the daily tasks you have ahead. This simple concept of feeling better can lead to improved physical health and emotional health, resulting in a happier and healthier lifestyle.
